Volleyball Hosts "Battle Against Blood Cancer"

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team will be a hosting "Battle Against Blood Cancer" match this week to raise funds and awareness for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The match is being sponsored by Creative Imprints, Hertle & Brown, MSH Industries and State Champs Volleyball Camp.

The Lions face Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday beginning at 7 p.m. Donations will be taken at the door and various items will be raffled off during the matches.

On Tuesday night, the first 150 people who donate five dollars or more will receive a free t-shirt and a free raffle ticket. Raffle items include Penn State football tickets, Pittsburgh Penguins tickets, Sheetz gas card, TGIF gift card, Behrend volleyball gear and much more.

In between the sets, there will also be a serving contest to win a free pizza.

For more than 60 years, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) has been solely focused on people with blood cancers.
