Men's Track and Field Ranked Tenth in Mideast Region

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track and field team is ranked 10th in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III Mideast Regional rankings.

Through four meets this year, the Lions have already qualified for the ECAC's in nine events – the shot put, high jump, distance medley relay, 60 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 800 meter run, 1000 meter run, 4X200 meter relay, and the 4X800 meter relay.

In addition, four Behrend indoor records have already fallen thus far in 2014, including two by freshman Malik Moffett-Pulliam (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) in the high jump and 4X200, and two by Matt McWilliams (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) in the 1000 meter run and distance medley relay.

The Lions will continue their season when they travel to Baldwin Wallace on Friday, February 14.
