Moffett-Pulliam Named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Malik Moffett-Pulliam (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) has been named United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III National Athlete of the Week for the first week of outdoor season, announced on Monday.

The Behrend freshman dominated the competition at California (PA) on Saturday afternoon, winning three individual events as well as the 4x100 meter relay.

Moffett-Pulliam took first place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.68 second and also captured the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.68 seconds. Both marks were new Behrend outdoor records.

He then won the high jump competition with a height of 2.00 meters.

Earlier this season, the freshman set four new school indoor records in the 55m, 60m, 200m, and the high jump.

The Lions will continue their season when they travel to Defiance on March 29.
