ASHLAND, Ohio – Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) set a new Penn State Behrend indoor track and field record in the pentathlon to lead the Lions the Jud Logan "Light Giver" Open held at Ashland on Friday and Saturday.

Key Moments:

* Felton, the first female athlete to complete a pentathlon for the Lions, tallied a score of 2139 to etch her name in the record books
* Felton's score was good enough to place 12th overall
* Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin) also set a school record, while setting a new personal record and hitting an AARTFC qualifying mark in the mile run with a time of 5:11.73 for 11th overall
* Carr also led the DMR consisting of Victoria Dieterich (Oakmont, PA/Riverview), Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) and Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) with an AARTFC qualifying mark of 12:42.73
* The DMR finished seventh overall in a group of Division II teams
* Nola finished in eighth place in the 3000m, running a time of 10:30.03 to qualify for the AARTFC meet
