BEREA, Ohio – Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) set a new school record in the 1500m to lead the Penn State Behrend outdoor track & field team at a pair of Last Chance Meets this week.

Noteworthy:

*  At Baldwin Wallace, Nola ran an AARTFC qualifying time of 4:35.00 to break her school record she set earlier this season
* Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin) also qualified for the AARTFC meet with a time of 4:43.76
* At Allegheny on Thursday, Emily Ferrans (Bradfordwoods, PA/North Allegheny) was second in the 800m in 2:36.29
* Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) took sixth in the long jump with a distance of 4.70m

Next Up:

* Behrend returns to action on Wednesday and Thursday at the AARFTC Championships at Susquehanna University.
