ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women’s water polo players Jillian Sebrosky and Paula Rusca were honored by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPA) with the 2011 All-Academic Award.
The CWPA recognizes student-athletes based on qualifying by specific grade point average achievement. The categories are Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41), and Excellent (3.40-3.20).
Sebrosky, a graduated senior, earned Superior recognition. Rusca, an upcoming sophomore driver, also earned Superior honors. Sebrosky tallied 13 assists, 11 steals and nine drawn kickouts last season for the Lions, while Rusca played in all 20 games and scored 13 goals during her freshman campaign.
