Baseball Set To Host ECAC Southwest Championship

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team will host the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Southwest Championship Tournament on May 14-15 on the Behrend Diamond.

The Lions (26-12-1) are hosting the event for the second straight year and are searching for their second straight ECAC South Tournament victory.

Behrend will host Waynesburg (21-18-1) in a best-of-three series starting on Thursday for the title.

Behrend has four ECAC South Championships in program history and are competing in the event for the ninth time.

The teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday starting at noon and will return Friday at noon if need be for a deciding game three.
