ERIE, Pa. -- The accolades keep coming for members of the Penn State Behrend men's soccer team.
Seniors Eric Vunovic (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) and Eric Hackworth (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler) and junior Jarrod Wassell (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) were named to the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Men's All-Star Team on Friday afternoon.
Vunovic, a first-team selection, had one of the Behrend's best individual seasons in recent memory. He led the team with 26 points including 10 goals and six assists. The senior finished his career with 24 assists, tied for the all-time lead in the history of the Behrend program. His 22 career goals place him seventh all-time.
Aside from being an ECAC second-team All-Star, Hackworth has been a back-to-back First-Team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) selection. The senior has also won two consecutive AMCC Defensive Player of the Year awards.
Wassell, also a second-team ECAC All-Star selection, was spectacular in his second season as the Lions' full time goalkeeper. The junior posted a razor thin 0.81 goals against average to go along with nine shutouts. He made 51 saves in helping to lead Behrend back to the NCAA Tournament. Wassell was also a First-Team All-AMCC choice.
