ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend freshman swimmer Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) has named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Compton won two events and set a pool record at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. The newcomer set the pool record in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:58.42 while winning the 400 IM (4:27.53).

Behrend is back in action next week at the three-day Oberlin Invitational.
