ERIE, Pa. – Junior Julie Cook and freshman Emily Frederick have been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively.

Cook was a triple winner against Washington & Jefferson on Saturday. She swam a leg the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams. Cook also tied for first place in the 200 breaststroke in 2:42.65 and was the top Behrend finisher in the 100 breaststroke, placing second in 1:13.25.

In the diving competition, Frederick was first in the three-meter with a score of 150.50 for six dives and finished fourth in the one-meter event (156.55). It was the newcomers second time competing this season.

The Lions will host Pitt-Bradford on Friday. Meet time is 5 p.m.
