ERIE, Pa. – Freshmen Rachael Ragen and Emily Frederick were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively. Two weeks ago, both athletes earned the same honor.
Ragen was the top point scorer at the AMCC Championships, winning three individual events and swimming a leg on four first-place relays. She got the gold medal in the 50 free while setting a new AMCC record with a time of 25.35. Ragen broke the conference meet and team record in the 100 free and 100 butterfly.
Frederick was the highest scoring AMCC Diver this past weekend. She recorded a score of 210.65 in the one-meter competition for 12th overall. In the 3m diving finals, Frederick finished eighth with a 207.25 total.
