ERIE, Pa. - On Wednesday, November 18, the Penn State Behrend baseball team and coaching staff visited the Penn State Behrend Child Care Center, located in Knowledge Park.  This annual event is part of the team's community service to enjoy time away from the field in a fun atmosphere. 

"It was a ton of fun playing with the kids and an escape from a stressful school week," sophomore Nate Noe (Albion, PA/Northwestern) said. "Playing with the kids was a great release from our school schedules," shared sophomore David Boehme (Venitia, PA. "It's great to see the young ones have smiles on their faces as we played because they certainly put one on ours."

The baseball team traditionally also participates in the Shining Star program and supports Grady's Decision as additional ways to give back to the community.
