ERIE, Pa. – The annual Penn State Behrend baseball alumni weekend will take place the weekend of September 23-25, 2016. The weekend begins on Friday, September 23 with fall baseball practice at 4 p.m. followed by a social gathering at night beginning at 7 p.m.
Saturday is the date of the Golf Tournament held at Green Meadows Golf Course in North East, Pa. The $85 registration fee covers 18 holes with a cart, hot dog and soda at the turn, a Behrend baseball Nike t-shirt and post-event picnic. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shot gun start at 9:30 a.m. Hole sponsors are also welcome. Saturday evening, Behrend baseball alum Shane Elzer '06 will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in a ceremony that begins at 6 p.m. in the Reed Union Building.
Sunday morning, alumni batting practice starts at 10 a.m. followed by an alumni game and then a fall baseball team practice.
