Bohman Earns National Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Brian Bohman (Erie, PA/McDowell) of the Penn State Behrend baseball team picked up NCAA Division III National Player of the Week honors for the week ending March 13, announced on Thursday.

The National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) gives this award to a hitter and a pitcher each week. For this past week, Bohman was co-hitter of the week with Justin Taylor from Lancaster Bible.

The junior catcher hit .636 with an on base percentage of .722 and slugged 1.083. He hit two home runs, two doubles and two triples. Bohman drew 10 walks, was hit by two pitches and stole two bases. He also drove in 15 runs and scored 11 times himself.
