ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2015 season. The Lions will kick off the campaign on Saturday, September 5 with the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament at Behrend. The event also features Baldwin Wallace, Geneseo, and Hiram. The Lions fell to Hiram in last season's championship game, 2-1.
The Lions will play eight home games, four of which will be played under the lights at the Behrend Field, one of the premiere soccer facilities in the Erie area.
Behrend returns nine starters from a team that went 18-4 in 2014, captured the AMCC Tournament Championship for the second straight season, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
