Belack Named NSCAA Scholar All-American

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's soccer team standout Jimmy Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) has been selected to the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III Scholar All-America Team. Belack is the program's first-ever Scholar All-American, earning a spot on the second team. He is one of 33 Division II and III student-athletes chosen to the men's team.

"This is outstanding recognition of Jimmy's academic, athletic and leadership qualities. " said head coach Dan Perritano.  

Already earning Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Year honors, First Team Great Lakes All-Region, First Team All-Conference and a conference championship, Belack adds one more accolade to an outstanding career as a Behrend Lion. The finance and accounting major earned a spot for achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.35.

Belack finished his outstanding career on and off the field as the programs all-time leader in assists and ranks second all-time in points and goals.
