ERIE, Pa. – After recently claiming the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference regular-season title and the No. 1 seed for the upcoming conference tournament, the Penn State Behrend men's soccer team continues to move up in NCAA Division III statistics.  

As a team, Behrend ranks fifth in the nation in total goals with 57. The Lions also rank 8th in total points (150), 10th in scoring offense (3.17 goals per game), 12^th in points per game (8.33) and 18^th with a .833 winning percentage.

Individually, senior forward Jimmy Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) is nationally-ranked second in game-winning goals with 7. He also ranks 8^th in total points (41), 9^th in total goals (16), 17th in points per game (2.28) and 22^nd with .89 goals per game.

Goalkeeper Jarrod Wassell (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) owns a goals-against average mark of .621, 32^nd best in the nation.

The Lions gear up for a home contest in the semifinal round of the AMCC Tournament. Behrend will play the winner of the four and five seeds Mt. Aloysius and La Roche on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
