ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team collect their sixth straight win and fifth consecutive shut out with a 3-0 victory over Buffalo State in non-conference action on Tuesday night.
The Lions (14-10) won in three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-16. Mary Sperry had a double-double wih 10 kills, 11 dgis and three aces. Kelly Treser also had 10 kills to go with four blocks.
Danielle Woods recorded 16 digs, while Chelsea Magnusen and Carly Higham split the setting duties. Magnusen dished out 17 and Higham had 16.
Behrend returns to action on Saturday in a tri-match at home against Franciscan and Ursuline. The first match begins at 12 p.m.
