PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – Penn State Behrend bounced back from a 2-0 deficit to win the next two sets but fell in the match-winning set to Ursuline 3-2 in non-conference volleyball action on Wednesday night.
After dropping the first two sets 25-22 and 25-21, the Lions (5-4) won each of the next two contests 25-21 and 25-17. The Arrows picked up their sixth win of the season with an 18-16 victory in the final set.
Kelly Treser led with 10 kills and Chelsea Magnusen recorded a season-best 25 assists to go along with 10 digs for a double-double. Jessica Woods was the team leader in blocks with seven.
Behrend is on the road for the next four matches and returns to action at Grove City on Tuesday. Match begins at 6:30 p.m.
