Wilwohl, Bourquin Named to All-AMCC Team

ERIE, Pa.  – Senior guard Brittany Wilwohl (Erie, PA/Villa Maria) and junior forward Holly Bourquin (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) have been named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Basketball All-Conference team, announced today.

Wilwohl, who was selected to the first team, quickly made an impact on the team in her first and final season with the Lions. She led the squad and ranked second in the conference in scoring with 15.8 points per game. Wilwohl also was second in the AMCC in free-throw percentage (81.8) and fourth in three-point field-goal percentage (.321). She scored double figures in 23 out of 26 games, leading Behrend in scoring in 11. Wilwohl shot 43.4 percent from the floor and registered a team-best 64 assists.

Bourquin was chosen to the second team after being an All-AMCC honorable mention last year.  She ranked third in the conference in field-goal percentage, shooting 51.6 percent from the floor. Her 13.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game were good enough for second on the team. Bourquin had 20 double-figure scoring performances, while leading in rebounding in 10 contests.

Behrend earned its second straight and ninth overall bid to the ECAC South Region Tournament. The Lions will travel to Waynesburg on Wednesday night in first-round action, beginning at 7 p.m.
