Bourquin Named AMCC Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Holly Bourquin (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel), a junior forward on the Penn State Behrend women’s basketball team, has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Player of the Week. It is the first time this season she has earned the honor.

Bourquin led the Lions (10-2, 6-1 AMCC) to three straight conference wins last week, averaging 18.3 points while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor. She tallied 19 points, six rebounds and three steals in the win over D’Youville. Bourquin then hit for a game-high 23 points in a 73-36 victory against Pitt-Greensburg.

Behrend returns to action tomorrow against Pitt-Bradford. Game time is 8 p.m. and will be televised on Image Sports Network.
